The Vernon County Planning Commission agreed by consensus to a Class 1 public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan for Jan. 29 at 1:00 PM in the Vernon County Board Room. The Planning Commission's regular meeting will follow the hearing.
Chair Charlie Jacobson announced the date and location during the Dec. 16 meeting and commissioners recorded the scheduling as part of the plan-adoption process. The commission plans to refer the approved final draft to the county board in February following the hearing.
Members and staff noted the informational session on Dec. 2 had provided broad outreach and feedback that will be considered during the public comment period. Materials and any corrected spellings will be prepared by staff for the Jan. 29 hearing.
