The City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit for Lopez Holdings FF LLC to renovate and add up to five residential units at 514 4th Avenue SE (PID 36-0078200). Council member JoAnn Schroeder moved the resolution, which was seconded by Council member Clint Krueger and approved without objection.
The resolution includes findings from the Planning Commission that the proposal is compatible with the comprehensive plan and zoning, and it imposes specific conditions of approval. Those conditions require at least two parking spaces per unit (a minimum of 10 new spots for a total of 22), establishment of waste storage/pickup areas for the new units, compliance with the City and State building codes, and submission of building permits within nine months or the conditional use permit will become void unless an extension is approved. Council minutes record the motion and unanimous approval.
City staff were directed to issue the appropriate permits consistent with the council’s action.
