Darby Logan of Public Works said four bids were received and that the contract had been approved and signed by the county counselor and the county auditor and was presented to the commission for final approval. Staff indicated the contractor was expected to begin work at the end of the month and the project team aimed to complete the bridge this year.
Commissioner (speaker S3) moved approval of the contract award (2026CO111) and the commission voted by roll call to carry the motion 2'0to'0. Public Works will coordinate construction scheduling and notifications once the contractor mobilizes.
