Neighbors say Lincoln and Washington streets have become a racing strip, urge more policing and 4‑way stops

"We need more policing, and especially in that area," they said, and asked whether additional four‑way stops or enforcement during rush hours could reduce the risk.
Sheriff's deputies in the room listened and took notes; deputies and staff advised residents to report speeding to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office or to use the "report a problem" link on the city's website so deputies can be dispatched and the manager's office can be alerted. Commissioners said they would pass concerns to the county sheriff for enforcement follow up.
