Council approves $405,412.50 pay application for Long Prairie lift station project

During new business the council also approved an invoice of $2,502.70 to Braun Intertec for construction testing related to the project. Council Member Lilah Gripne moved to approve Pay Application No. 5 and Mayor James Kreemer moved to approve the Braun Intertec invoice; both motions were seconded and recorded as unanimously approved.
Engineer Louwagie reported underground piping is complete, the controls building and generator have been set, electrical work is underway and startup of the new lift station is anticipated in June, with demolition and site work on the old lift station planned for July.
