In a presentation to the Bristow Hospital Authority on Oct. 27, Jon Rains of Carrus Lakeside Hospital, LLC described a new accounting program the operator began using in July and said it has been reconciling prior billing.
"Starting in July, we have a new program for accounting, and it shows exact numbers," Rains said, explaining that Carrus has been 'catching up on some old billing' and reviewing a profit-and-loss statement. The trustees did not raise questions during that portion of the presentation.
Rains framed the financial update as background for a larger operational discussion the operator brought to the authority later in the meeting, including the Notice of Termination and potential third-party suitors. No specific revenue, expense or vendor names were provided in the meeting transcript.
