Chair Charlie Jacobson called the Vernon County Planning Commission to order at 9:30 a.m. and the commission reviewed a land-use workshop packet presented by Jack Zabrowski.
Zabrowski walked commissioners through the materials and the commission discussed concerns and potential changes. Zoning Administrator Matthew Albright said, "the Town of Sparta may be a good example to review." Commissioners said the packet raised useful questions about how Vernon County might structure future land-use policy and where to concentrate growth and services.
