An administrator summarized the district’s engagement process and results from school-site forums, student focus groups and a districtwide survey, reporting that 5,293 stakeholders participated this year. "This year, we had 5,293 participants," the presenter said while showing the participation breakdown by role and site.
Staff described how input from parents, students, teachers, classified staff and site administrators was triangulated into themes that inform proposed actions and services. Top student-requested items were more targeted academic support (tutoring), greater counselor access and expanded AP or career-preparatory course access; staff said those themes will feed into draft goals posted for public review prior to county evaluation.
