Harvey County IT director flags Imagine IT cost increase; commissioners suggest RFP

LeeAnn Daniels, Harvey County Data Processing Director, presented the proposed 2026 Information Technology budget and explained the county works closely with managed-services provider Imagine IT. Daniels said the cost for Imagine IT services is increasing and that the CIP includes replacement of computer equipment and server upgrades.
Commissioners suggested issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for IT managed services rather than automatically extending the Imagine IT contract; Daniels said the IT plan includes multi-year virtual-server upgrades, firewall replacements and a SAN project. The 2026 draft shows total IT expenditures in the general fund and capital programs that reflect both contractual increases and planned capital purchases.
