Union City Council: Key Motions and Administrative Actions from Aug. 27 Meeting

At its Aug. 27 meeting, the Union City Borough Council took a series of routine administrative actions and votes, most by unanimous consent.
Council approved the meeting agenda, the Aug. 13 minutes, the Secretary’s Report and ordered unpaid bills paid; the motions were recorded as carried unanimously. The council also voted to pass a resolution accepting the Erie Area Council of Governments (EACOG) audit report as presented. Manager Cindy Wells said the borough will send a letter of support for the PennDOT Charging & Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program application along U.S. Route 6. Council noted it opted not to advertise bids for the towing ordinance.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 6:19 P.M. by Councilor Osborn, seconded by Councilor Kerns; the motion carried unanimously.
