The work scope approved calls for replacing the damaged 24" tile segment, reconnecting pipes in the sinkhole area, installing a larger catch basin and replacing approximately 10 feet of pipe.
Two estimates were presented: Mansfield at $22,295 and McLallen Construction at $23,450; both bids required the borough to provide a truck during the project. Councilor Steadman moved and Councilor Osborn seconded the contract award to Mansfield; the motion carried unanimously.
