County committee begins review of fleet policy; staff capacity and an inventory flagged as first step

"My intent would then be also reaching out to other counties to see what they're doing," a finance staff member said, outlining next steps to gather comparative data. Committee members also suggested departments track mileage and consider department-level needs before deciding on leasing or purchasing.
