Borough Manager Cindy Wells told council the Municipal Lot #1 stormwater repair and closure of a catch basin in Hogan’s Alley cost $39,060.20 and asked the council to designate ARPA funds to cover that bill. Councilor Joyce moved and Councilor Steadman seconded the motion to allocate $39,060.20 from available ARPA funds; the motion passed.
Manager Wells said the borough’s ARPA total is $194,413 and that $160,000 had previously been designated toward the Willow Street Bridge, of which $25,000 has already been spent. Council directed staff in follow-up to schedule the stormwater work and report back when the repairs are complete.
