GUNTER ISD finance officer reports tax revenues above budget, general fund near full spend for year

Miss Greer, who presented the board's monthly financial report, said the district's account balances totaled $27,844,396.61 as of May 31, 2025. "The ending market value for 05/31/2025 was $3,939,864.27," she said, and reported total investment-account balances of $26,444,146.82.
Greer told trustees that year-to-date general fund tax revenues collected were $7,357,847 and debt-service tax receipts totaled $5,154,271, both figures described as "more than we budgeted." She reported total year-to-date general fund revenues of $11,605,253 and year-to-date general fund expenditures of $11,361,142—about 84% of the budget with one month left in the fiscal year. Greer said some state revenue remained to be collected.
Board members asked a few clarifying questions after the presentation; the chair thanked Greer and moved on to other agenda items. The report did not include any formal motions on budget changes at this meeting.
