Board recognizes students and staff across GUNTER ISD

A substantial portion of the meeting recognized students and staff across the district. Elementary students from kindergarten through fourth grade were honored as students of the month, the middle school and high school recognized student achievement and staff were singled out for contributions to campus culture and student support.
"Every single day, they make sure our littlest tigers have at least 2 square meals a day," Presenter (S5) said as the elementary cafeteria staff were recognized for consistent service and care. The superintendent announced a new 'Big Impact' award—a $100 stipend—to be awarded monthly to staff members nominated by principals for outstanding support to students and colleagues.
Other recognitions included high‑school accomplishments (a student who passed two AP exams), the middle‑school special education team and high‑school counselors. Trustees invited the recognized students for photos and publicly thanked staff for their service.
