UN reports escalating attacks in Ukraine and damage to humanitarian warehouses in DRC

The spokesperson said four humanitarian warehouses were hit across the country in July alone.
Separately, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs told the briefing that fighting in the highlands of South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (in towns including Uvira, Fisi and Mwanga) has displaced more than 48,000 people since mid-July and damaged health facilities, hampering access and evacuation.
The briefing linked these developments to broader concerns about civilian protection and the operational capacity of humanitarian partners on the ground.
