Clerk-read items included a resolution urging the governor to proclaim March 19, 2025, as Small Business Development Centers Day and others recognizing Women in Agriculture Day, Doula Week (March 22–28), Cleaning Week (March 23–29), Autoimmune Awareness Month (March), and Missing Persons Day (April 6). Each resolution was adopted by voice vote on the floor.
Assembly Member Hooks introduced a visiting YouthBuild Queens cohort and their program director, Fleance Mason, noting their construction-focused training and industry certifications such as PACT and OSHA-10. "I'm proud to recognize them today and to let them know this chamber sees them, supports them, and celebrates what they're building," the member said.
The Assembly also welcomed members of the World Sikh Parliament and extended privileges of the floor to the delegation.
