WestCOG approves Regional Services Grant spending plan and Resolution 2026-06-18-#01

At the June 18 meeting the Western Connecticut Council of Governments voted unanimously to adopt the Regional Services Grant spending plan, which includes funding for Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning. Redding First Selectwoman Julia Pemberton moved adoption and Bethel First Selectman Dan Carter seconded; the resolution was recorded as 2026-06-18-#01.
Executive Director Francis Pickering presented the spending plan during the meeting and the Council approved it without recorded opposition. The resolution formalizes the spending allocations and authorizes staff to proceed with the included work areas as described in the plan presented to the Council.
