As the meeting concluded, an online member alerted the group that a Zoom participant was impersonating them and rapidly changing display names. "So there is somebody impersonating me on the Zoom," the online member said, and staff directed hosts to remove or block the disruptive user and consider shutting down and restoring the meeting if necessary.
Board members and staff discussed options to address the disruption, including removing the user or restarting the meeting; staff indicated they would manage the online host controls to block the impersonator. The incident occurred after the adjournment motion and did not change board business or scheduled hearing plans.
