Treasurer Karen DeLap told the Finance Committee on Sept. 16 that as of Aug. 31 the county had $29,985,027.25 in cash on hand and receipts of $5,261,936.83. She reported total delinquent property taxes of $1,059,802.06 and said the County's largest delinquent account is headed for the InRem (in-rem) process.
The treasurer's figures will be used in budget planning and were supplied to the committee as part of routine financial reporting. There was no recorded dispute of the figures during the meeting.
