Commissioners approve multiple license agreements for water and underground power crossings

The Board of County Commissioners approved several right-of-way license agreements on April 27. County Engineer Ken Muller presented agreements including Master License M26-02 with Alison Cook and a separate License Agreement (2609LA) for a bored crossing and SAWS water tap at County Road #87 (Beaver Creek Road) with a fee of $205.50; Commissioner Mike Arzy moved to approve and authorize the chair to sign, and the motion passed unanimously.
Muller also presented Sheridan County License Agreement 2610LA with Montana-Dakota Utilities (MDU) for a bored crossing to install underground power at County Road #109 (McCormick Road) to serve a newly approved subdivision (fee $162.50). Commissioner Lonnie Wright moved to approve 2610LA and the board passed the motion unanimously. Finally, the board approved 2611LA with MDU for replacing a failed primary electric crossing at County Road #80 (Mydland Road/W. 15th Street); that agreement was fee-exempt under exemption C because it was a replacement rather than a new installation; Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve and it passed unanimously.
The agreements enable utility service connections for subdivision development and equipment replacement along county roads. The motions were recorded as passing unanimously in the minutes.
