County Planner Mark Reid briefed the board on May 4 about three items scheduled for the Planning & Zoning meeting on May 7: a proposed Dietz Legacy Homes subdivision on Decker Road, an application for a Conditional Use Permit to run a small retail needlework shop out of an existing building, and a variance request to reduce lot area as part of a boundary line adjustment between the Ziegler and Buszkiewic properties. Reid said the boundary adjustment appears straightforward and "no impact on density or setbacks" is expected.
The planner asked commissioners to note those agenda items for the upcoming meeting; any public hearings on these matters will follow the usual notice and review procedures under county planning rules. The board did not take action on the items at the May 4 staff meeting and will consider formal recommendations after the Planning & Zoning hearing.
