Sheridan County commissioners on April 27 approved county warrants totaling $130,347 and airport warrants of $6,711 and authorized the county clerk to release funds for May payroll distributions. Misti Dunkelberger, County Clerk Administrative Coordinator, presented the warrant register; Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve the warrants "as presented," and the motion passed unanimously.
Deb Ottema, Sheridan County Financial Coordinator, told the board law enforcement payroll is scheduled for May 1 and May 29 and that airport and monthly payroll will be processed on May 29, 2026. Commissioner Lonnie Wright moved to authorize release of the monies needed to complete May payroll distributions; that motion also passed unanimously. The warrants list includes individual vendor items such as $33,912 for dyed diesel and a $32,254 credit for nurse hours for Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc.
