Skola sworn in; Planning Commission selects Skola as chair and Losee as vice-chair

During its Feb. 12 meeting the Planning Commission sworn in Chad Skola for 2026–2029, then voted unanimously to appoint Skola as chair and Julie Losee as vice-chair; consent minutes were also approved.
Deputy City Recorder Raelyn Boman administered the oath of office for Chad Skola for a term running 2026–2029. Commissioner Skola opened the meeting, welcoming attendees and leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
The commission then moved through procedural business. Commissioner Marty McFadden moved to appoint Chad Skola as Chair and Julie Losee as Vice-Chair; Commissioner Chris Roberts seconded the motion and the commission voted 5–0 in favor. The consent agenda included approval of minutes from Dec. 11, 2025 and Jan. 15, 2025 (both motions recorded on the February 12 agenda).
