Charlottesville and Albemarle supervisors highlight partnerships; call for closer coordination with UVA

Officials said the university plays a central role in the region's service delivery and economy and urged continued work on joint planning. The meeting packet included a revenue-sharing report and a partnerships inventory that elected officials said showed areas where coordinated action improves outcomes for residents. Staff were asked to pursue follow-up work with the University of Virginia and neighboring counties and return with options for stronger regional cooperation.
