Trustees approved a slate of contract-related items, including a Region 10 contracted-services arrangement the superintendent reported at $92,811.46 for the 2025'6 school year. "If you look at page 69 and 70 of your handout, you'll see that the total amount is of contracted services with Region 10 for the school year is $92,811.46," the superintendent said.
The board also approved a memorandum of understanding with a juvenile-justice education partner to reduce potentially large placement costs. "This right here is $7,500, but then we pay a 120 a day," the superintendent said, describing the MOU cost and the per-diem placement fees that make external placements expensive for the district. Trustees approved both items during the meeting.
