Miss Greer also summarized year-to-date collections and pacing: local property-tax collections for the general fund were reported at $7,202,670 (about 99.56% of budgeted expectations), general-fund revenues year-to-date of $2,605,329 (79.46% of budget), and year-to-date expenditures of $8,840,973 (roughly 69–70% of the 10-month budget cycle as of March 2025).
Board members asked questions about timing for audits and the budget calendar; the superintendent and finance staff noted state payments and the upcoming budget workshops that will affect final revenue projections and budgeting decisions.
