Board adopts student handbooks and sets election filing dates

The Independent School District #775 Board approved the high school and elementary handbooks for the 2026'27 school year at its June 8 meeting.
Harmon Wilts moved to approve the high school handbook and Sean Collins seconded that motion. Jeremy Winter moved to approve the elementary handbook and Wilts seconded. Both handbook approvals were recorded in the minutes.
Separately, the board adopted a resolution establishing the School Board general election date as Nov. 3, 2026, and set candidate affidavit filing dates for July 14'28, 2026; the motion was made by Jeremy Winter and seconded by Harmon Wilts. The minutes list these actions as approved.
