The Hill City School Board voted to approve the district’s Achievement & Integration (A&I) budget on March 23, 2026. The motion was made by Sarah Kingsley and seconded by Jeremy Nelson and passed on a unanimous recorded vote with five members present.
The A&I workbook included in the meeting materials lists discrete line-item guidance and revenue figures; an entry in the packet shows amounts that sum to $19,607.70 for A&I revenue on the worksheet presented to the board. The workbook also contains instructions from the Minnesota Department of Education about submission procedures and timing (for example, it notes that A&I budgets are due to MDE by March 15, 2026, and that the district should submit the proposed FY27 budget as an Excel file to mde.integration@state.mn.us).
Board members approved the A&I budget as presented; the motion and supporting workbook materials were entered into the minutes. The board did not record additional amendments to the workbook at the March 23 meeting.
