Odessa School Board approves routine business, sets workshop and next meeting dates

The consent agenda included General Fund vouchers and payroll warrants totaling $337,527.48, and the motion to approve the agenda carried 5-0.
The board scheduled a workshop for Oct. 16, 2024 at 5:15 pm in the district office and set the next regular meeting for Oct. 23, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the high school library; that scheduling motion also passed unanimously. Superintendent Steve Fisk presented several reports during the meeting, including financial and facilities updates, and confirmed a string of personnel and contract approvals that were taken up later in the agenda.
