Board members approved audited bills and ordered payments, disclosing financial details: an Activity Fund balance of $137,370.89; payroll electronic fund transfers and miscellaneous payroll items totaling $406,055.53; payroll checks of $7,935.95; total wires of $221,112.66; a Visa credit-card payment of $36,124.97; non-payroll checks of $76,841.99; and donations totaling $2,500. The meeting record lists an end-of-month total balance of $2,962,276.29.
During the meeting, Principal and Activities Director Jami Carr thanked staff for flexibility during spring scheduling changes, saying, "They have been so flexible and that has been very helpful." The board also noted that the Eagles donated $2,500 to the shop to help purchase a new welder.
The board's motions to approve the agenda, minutes and financial reports were made and seconded on the record and carried without opposition. The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.; the next regular meeting is set for June 24 at 8 p.m.
