Directors voted unanimously on May 20 to adopt the updated Ross Valley Sanitary District Administrative and Personnel Policy Book. Assistant General Manager Felicia Newhouse told the board the 2018 policy book (updated in 2021) was comprehensively revised to reflect current legal standards and employment practices.
During a public hearing held under Assembly Bill 2561, Newhouse updated the board on District vacancies as of May 1, 2026, and said the District maintained a robust recruitment effort and expects to be fully staffed in the coming weeks. The board offered no additional requests for future items related to staffing.
The board’s action formalizes the policy changes and directs staff to continue recruitment and finalize implementation steps for the updated policy book.
