The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle School Board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Feb. 23 meeting, adopting routine financial and personnel items.
The consent package included prewrite checks numbered through 24614–24744 totaling $265,215.23 and FY26 checks numbered 24745–24798 totaling $367,848.05, multiple fund transfers (including several payroll- and benefits-related disbursements), and routine P-Card and revolving-check items. The board also approved the district financial report. On personnel, the board approved two new hires — Eugene Holmquist as Head Cook and Nissa Doubek as a paraprofessional — and accepted a slate of resignations that included Tori Lee (kindergarten teacher), David Blanchard (secondary English teacher) and Andrew Engelhardt (secondary science teacher). Lane change requests effective March 1, 2026, were approved for several staff members, and Policy 521 (Student Disability Nondiscrimination) was updated as listed on the consent agenda.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Hollenkamp and seconded by Zastrow; the board recorded the action as "motion unanimously carried." The minutes show members Gohman, Hollenkamp, Levin, Zahnow and Zastrow present; Wolf and Wright were recorded as absent.
