The Ross Valley Sanitary District board voted unanimously on April 22 to authorize the General Manager, upon counsel review, to execute a professional services agreement with Kiosk, LLC for strategic planning services in an amount not to exceed $67,980. General Manager Steve Moore told the board it has been ten years since the District’s last strategic plan and described the effort as an opportunity to address current strategic challenges and opportunities. The motion (M/s Boorstein/Sylla) passed with all five directors voting aye.
Consultant Claire Garvie of Kiosk, LLC presented the proposal and discussed the typical duration and scope of strategic plans. Board members and staff discussed expected deliverables and timeline during the presentation. Moore linked the strategic plan effort to the District’s annual business plan and said staff will bring further detail on scope and schedule as the contract is executed and work begins.
