Trustees were told the roof for the village's salt-storage building has been delayed until the end of September because of a production slowdown at ClearSpan. The minutes record that contractor Miller will install the roof once it is fabricated and delivered, and that the village will continue using the Salt Storage Bays at the old compound until the new roof is in place.
Trustee Wendi Alonzo raised concerns about a ditch washing out near 200 1st Avenue and several potholes in the village. Trustee Dan Clark said the village already has plans to fix those streets. Director Nick Gottwalt noted that the village had been operating with one maintenance worker for six weeks while Ryan was on medical leave and that routine maintenance would resume this week as Ryan returns.
