The Richfield School Board ratified the collective bargaining agreement for administrative and management support professionals for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028. The administration summarized the agreement's changes including wage increases, insurance adjustments, and language additions addressing rest breaks and emergency closings.
"It is 1st year, July '27. It's a 75¢ per hour increase to the base salary schedule," the presenter stated while outlining year-one provisions; he also noted a second-year increase of 85¢ per hour and increments to medical-dependent coverage and longevity pay. The agreement increases the bilingual stipend and adds one personal leave day per year for 10-month employees, among other language changes.
Director Callumie Dennis moved to accept the agreement and the board approved the contract by voice vote. Administration said the unit ratified the contract the previous week and the board's approval implements the negotiated terms.
