Engineer reports February bid opening for Dunns Park ADA improvements; road repaving contingent on pipe work

Engineer S. Cosaboon updated the committee on current capital projects. He said there was a bid opening on Feb. 6 for the Dunns Park ADA Improvement project and the township will make a recommendation on contract award at the next meeting. Cosaboon said Central Schoolhouse Road and Quillytown Road will be repaved only after a "covert pipe" (culvert) is replaced; in the interim crews will patch and stabilize the roadway.
Cosaboon also reported that Phase II of the Recreation Complex is in the works and that he will contact the contractor to coordinate how and when the work will be completed. The minutes did not specify contractor names, bid totals, or exact timelines; the committee directed staff to bring a recommendation for Dunns Park at the subsequent meeting.
