Director Haley Tompkins named Richfield Schools treasurer

The Richfield School Board appointed Director Haley Tompkins as the district treasurer during its Aug. 3 meeting. Tompkins volunteered for the role during the nominations period and Clerk Ken Liss moved to appoint her; the board carried the motion by voice vote.
"I am willing to be the treasurer," Tompkins said when the board called for volunteers. After the required three calls for nominations, Ken Liss formally moved to assign Tompkins as treasurer and Callumie Dennis seconded the motion. The chair announced the vote in the affirmative and Tompkins was sworn in to the role for the coming year.
