At a public hearing July 20, Ray Valdez (deed owner) and prospective new owner Chad Schuab appeared regarding fire damage at 411 N Main. The commission noted the fire report indicated approximately 80% damage to the structure.
Commissioner Geray moved to grant an extension until August 17, 2026 and required the owner to obtain a structural-engineer inspection at the owner’s expense; Commissioner Myers seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
