Board approves multiple resignations and hires, and actions on substitutes and after-school staff

The board approved a set of personnel actions on motions recorded in the minutes. Dr. Renada Greer moved to approve resignations, hires and related personnel items; motions passed by roll call or voice votes as recorded.
Approved classified actions included resignations of Thomas Pierre-Louis (Custodian, CMS) effective Feb. 14, 2025 and Angela Blain (EOC Aide, CMS) effective Feb. 27, 2025; employment of paraprofessionals (Kesiena Obue, Remie Harkins, Daryl Frazier, Kasandra Wren) pending licensure and clear CBI; addition of classified substitutes Tiffany Nelson and Madison English; and after-school paraprofessional Jeannie Ravenscraft retroactive to Feb. 25, 2025. Certified actions included resignations of Steven Walsh (Academic Talented Teacher at Lewis) and Lance Davis (2nd Grade Teacher at Thomas) effective at the end of the 2024–25 school year, and approval of certified hires for 2025–26 (Stephanie Mazurowski, Natasha Hubbard-Felton, Sydney Peach) pending clear CBI.
The board also approved a maternity leave request from Kinzee Wilson beginning on or around May 9, 2025 through the remainder of the 2024–25 school year, and approved a special assignment for Anaiyah Agee as assistant boys track coach for 2024–25.
