The board approved the recommendation on a roll-call vote: yes — Corey Cawthon, Dr. Renada Greer, Aimee Wigfall and Imani McHenry; abstain — Catherine Field.
The motion will authorize purchasing the Wonders materials and implementing the updated platform in classrooms for kindergarten through fifth grade over the next six years; board minutes show no amendment to the dollar amount at the meeting.
