District consultants outline facilities implementation plan; board asks for action item

Consultants from Caldwell Flores Winters, Inc. (CFW)—Janet Kliegl, Khushroo Gheyara and Greg Norman—joined Superintendent Catherine Kawaguchi to present the Sulphur Springs Union School District's updated School Facilities Implementation Plan. They summarized campus walk-throughs, identified additional classroom needs, proposed facility improvements, estimated costs and discussed potential funding sources.
Trustees provided feedback during the presentation and requested the plan be brought back to the next board meeting as an action item for consideration of approval. The planning work is intended to align capital needs with the district's educational vision and the Local Control and Accountability Plan.
