President Hintz recommends appointments; trustee raises clerk attendance concern

Village President Bill Hintz recommended two officer appointments for 2025: Meagan Stang as Village Clerk and Nick Gottwalt as Director of Community & Administrative Services. The recommendations were listed on the agenda and placed on the consent agenda for approval.
Trustee Dan Clark raised a procedural concern, noting the Village Clerk has attended only about half of the board meetings this year and reminding trustees that the position requires attendance at meetings. President Hintz said he would speak with the clerk and remind her that attendance is mandatory. The appointments were included in the consent agenda the board approved later in the meeting.
