Board President Teri LaFountain called the Minneota Public School District board meeting to order at 11:48 a.m. and the board adopted the meeting agenda. Allan Malaterre moved to adopt the agenda and Dr. Wanda Parisien seconded; the motion carried 3–0 with two members absent.
The board then voted to approve the consent agenda items 3.A–3.H, a package that included approval of minutes, accounts payable and the FY2025–26 high school grant budget. The minutes show September 2025 accounts payable presented for approval totaled $1,216,549.44. The board packet listed the FY2025–26 100-297 TMHS Grant Budget as: Grand Total Current Year Budget $10,090,627.00; Grand Total Carryover Budget $6,303,116.41; Grand Total FY26 $16,393,743.41. The consent-agenda motion was made by Allan Malaterre and seconded by Dr. Wanda Parisien and carried on a recorded 3–0 vote with two members absent.
Board records show these approvals were included in the consent agenda rather than taken as separate roll-call votes. The meeting minutes list supporting documents in the packet, including monthly board and grant budget reports for August and September 2025. No separate discussion of the budget line items is recorded in the minutes; the board approved the package as presented.
