County finance staff presented a set of technical adjustments to the county fee schedule and budget, and the council approved the actions shown on the agenda.
Kimberly Burgess (staff) said the fee-schedule ordinance adds or refines items such as certain airport fees and proposed adoption fees; she noted some animal-control fees would be removed for now pending inclusion in a revised animal-control ordinance. "Shortly after it was passed, we realized that there needed to be some additional fees," Burgess said, explaining the changes were largely technical and intended to align with county practice and comparable counties.
Burgess also summarized a budget amendment that codifies transfers and adds approximately $321,090 in appropriations to reflect prior council decisions, grant matching requirements, and a network-attached storage (NAS) IT purchase partially funded by grants. Council approved the readings listed on the agenda.
