The St. Anthony–New Brighton School Board voted to authorize issuance of certificates of election and directed the district clerk to perform related election duties at a Nov. 13 special meeting.
The resolution authorizes the board chair and the clerk to execute certificates for Annie Bosmans, Laura Haas, Prachi Striker and Daniel Turner and to deliver those certificates after the statutory contest period and completion of campaign finance reports required under Minnesota law. The motion was made by Michael (Mike) Overman and seconded by Laura Oksnevad; the record shows the motion carried unanimously (Yea: 6, Nay: 0).
The minutes instruct the clerk to enclose a form of acceptance of office and an oath of office with each certificate and to deliver the documents personally or by certified mail once prerequisites have been met. The board also directed certification of results to the county auditor(s) in jurisdictions where the district lies.
