The Carbondale CES95 board conducted the first reading of Press Policies 115 on Sept. 23, covering items such as filling board vacancies, board member compensation, identity protection and accounting and audit procedures. The Policy Committee recommended the items for a first reading after meeting Sept. 10.
The board also reviewed draft updates including resource conservation, responsibilities concerning internal information, terms and conditions of employment, and education of homeless children. The minutes note no action taken on the first readings; the Policy Committee’s next meeting was scheduled for Oct. 8, 2024.
