Trustees approve consent calendar including consultant agreements and university placement MOUs

The Board approved the consent calendar on Aug. 28 by a 5-0 voice vote. The consent items included Action Report #24-14 elements, an agreement with American Fidelity for 125 Flexible Spending Plan administration, memoranda of understanding with Point Loma Nazarene University for student teacher and intern placements, a memorandum with CSU Bakersfield, consultant agreements for school portraits (Adams Photography, Cornerstone Photography), Apex Leadership services for Golden Oak, and Playworks for Leona Cox Community School, among other routine personnel and gift reports.
These routine consent approvals allow operational and programmatic work to proceed without separate roll-call votes on each individual contract. Trustees approved the full consent calendar and asked no additional questions on the listed items at the Aug. 28 meeting.
