Winter presented a package of recurring and one-time reductions and a proposed transfer of $130,000 from Maintenance to Long-Term Facilities Maintenance (LTFM), with the full set of recommendations totaling approximately $753,156.31.
Winter warned that many of the line items are estimates and depend on retirements and enrollment changes. He said the district expects 67 students to graduate and estimated about 40 entering kindergarten, a combination he said could drive roughly $200,000 of revenue loss tied to enrollment. The board directed administrators to prepare staff notifications (Winter advised an April 1 notification deadline) and agreed to take a final vote at the regular March meeting rather than at the work session.
