Community donors give more than $20,000 in gifts to W‑E‑M programs

The motion to accept the donations was made by Jay Schneider and seconded by Jon Bakken and carried with five votes in favor. The minutes list additional Lion Club donations ($1,125 to Travis’ Trades, $150 to Clay Target, $450 to Band & Choir, $75 to Eagle Bluff) and Partners In Education contributions totaling $6,000 across two line items. The board did not place restrictions or conditions in the minutes; acceptance was recorded as a single motion.
